Consists of indentures, deeds, surveys, maps, contracts, and legal documents pertaining to the Cedar Swamp Tract, the Hanover Furnace and Mount Misery, or other tracts throughout Burlington County dating from 1761-1863. Most of the documents detail property transactions of members of the Howell, Newbold, Jones, Earl, Black, Ridgeway, Edwards, Middleton, Bishpham, and Lippincot families. Some of the other tracts detailed in this collection are located in Job's Old Swamp, Wood Swamp, Old Halfway Swamp, New Hanover Township, North Hanover Township, Northampton Township, and Pemberton Township.
